Please take responsibility for your own safety. Whakapapa is an alpine environment on an active volcano, which means there are many hazards to be aware of.

 Everyone must read and understand the procedures in relation to:

• Drinking Water

First Aid

The hut does not have a first aid kit. Please bring your own first aid supplies.

There is a medical centre at the Top of the Bruce which is open, every day that Whakapapa is open, from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
